In a short time, Blizbi has evolved from a simple idea about accessibility and movement into a technological solution with global potential.
The Story
Blizbi started with a simple thought: It should be easier to find nearby activities - without having to search endlessly. Together with TEAL, the idea was tested through market research, and founder Helene Birkeland began her journey toward developing an entirely new solution. Driven by a strong sense of purpose and a genuine passion for getting people moving, Blizbi was born - an app designed to make it easier (and more fun!) to be active and social.
Direction and Development
In collaboration with TEAL, a clear business model was developed, along with the name and brand identity. Support was also secured for investor communication, and development partners were brought on board. Blizbi is still in its early stages, and a pilot launch of the beta version in Stavanger and Ryfylke is an important step toward scaling the solution nationally and internationally.
“I couldn’t have done this without TEAL's support!” - Helene Birkeland, CEO and Founder of Blizbi.

For over 20 years, Tomatfestivalen in Finnøy has brought together people, flavors, and passion in the heart of Ryfylke. In 2025, the tomato - and local food production - took center stage more than ever before in the overall festival experience.
The Story
Tomatfestivalen was created to highlight the uniqueness of Finnøy and Ryfylke through memorable experiences, local food, and strong community engagement. Over time, it has grown into a beloved celebration, where both small and large contributors come together to create an inclusive and diverse program. In 2025, the festival took place from August 14-17, with the main festival day on Saturday, August 16. The town center was filled with flavors, market stalls, and energy, offering visitors a day full of food experiences, activities, and local pride.
Direction and Development
Leading up to the festival, efforts were made to further develop the program - with a strong focus on enhancing the food profile. The collaboration between the festival board and TEAL focused on engaging relevant partners, creating a cohesive experience, and maximizing the potential of the full festival area. The result? A hugely successful festival that exhibitors, volunteers, and visitors alike described as one of the best editions ever.
